HOSPITAL MEDICINE
FELLOWSHIP

A year's worth of advanced inpatient training designed for residents heading toward hospital medicine. Fellows take on expanded responsibility on our inpatient medicine service, precept junior residents, run specialty consult weeks, and gain additional experience at Santa Paula Hospital. Graduates leave equipped to lead an inpatient service on day one,  a critical need in community and rural hospitals where a family physician is often the only hospitalist available.
