Dr. Laura Murphy (Core Faculty) and Dr. Ben Mati (Alumni)
Presented two posters at the AMSSM annual conference, one on identifying a torn thumb UCL in a baseball player, and one on a multidisciplinary approach to shoulder pain involving POCUS, OMM and Chinese medicine disciplines.

Dr. Alarcón and Dr. Khan teamed up to document the evolution of our backpack medicine project in the face of the COVID pandemic. Published in the American Journal of Public Health.

Dr. Araujo joined an international team to present a framework for the importance of training family physicians to provide surgical care in resource-limited settings. It was published by the World Health Organization.
OPTIMIZING FRACTURE PREVENTION IN PATIENTS WITH OSTEOPOROSIS
Dr. Lambing (Core Faculty)
Dr. Lambing's work with the National Osteoporosis Foundation generated a performance improvement initiative for fracture prevention in osteoporosis. Their results are published in the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine.
