VCMC Residency Fire Victims Donate Now

Our beautiful VCMC family is in pain. The Thomas fire has devastated many families in our small community. Drs. Lambing, Baker, David, Bale, Weber, Jones and some of our clinic and Hospital staff have completely lost their homes in the fire. They left with a few belongings in their bags and the clothes on their backs. Please help us in raising money to give them a chance at rebuilding their lives.

Visit https://www.gofundme.com/vcmcfirerelief to donate now.  All money will be used to support rebuilding our community.

We are full spectrum Family Medicine

The Family Medicine Residency Program at Ventura County Medical Center (VCMC) is a premier site for full spectrum, unopposed Family Medicine residency training. Affiliated with the UCLA School of Medicine, VCMC is one of the original 15 programs approved in Family Practice and has been educating physicians since 1928. Graduates of the program are equipped with the skills to work anywhere, especially with the medically underserved.

Ventura residents establish continuity primary care practices for a diverse patient population in the Academic Family Medicine Center while managing VCMC's inpatient medicine, surgery, OB, ICU, ER, and pediatrics services. They learn from weekly protected didactic timeenjoy each others' company during an annual all-resident retreat, and live in Ventura, California.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us.  Whether you're a medical student interested in an externship, a college student looking for a summer experience in the medical field, or a member of the community wanting to learn more about the excellent training program here in Ventura, we hope you find the information you need here.  Visitors are always welcome - feel free to call us, or stop by the office to learn more.
